Dental implants of the entire jaw — on 4 implants or more?

The absence of even one tooth can cause discomfort, and the loss of several teeth becomes a problem both functional and psychological. The limited ability to bite, difficulty chewing, slurred speech and a change in facial expression are the main reasons why patients opt for dentures on implants. Such prostheses provide a natural look, high functionality when eating and drinking, and stability, which translates into greater self-confidence.

Is it possible to remove all teeth at once?

Removal of all teeth in one day is possible, especially when the patient has large gaps in the dentition and only individual teeth remain. The exception is molars (7-mki), which have more roots and their removal is more complicated, but if the patient is able to endure discomfort, the procedure can be performed in one visit.

Can implants be implanted on the same day?

In some cases, it is possible to implant implants immediately after tooth extraction, if bone conditions allow. Adequate bone quantity and quality are crucial, as assessed by the dentist. Often, implants are also placed in places other than the removed teeth, which allows both procedures to be performed at the same time. Such a procedure reduces the number of visits and pain complaints, since the restoration of tissues occurs only once.

The All-on-X method — a modern solution to missing teeth

The All-on-X method is a revolutionary approach to the restoration of the entire dental arch, which allows you to restore a full smile even in one day. It involves the implantation of 4 or 6 implants on which a permanent dental prosthesis is fixed. Thanks to this, patients regain stability, functionality and aesthetics, which translates into comfort of eating, talking and smiling.

Types of prostheses on implants

  • Fixed prosthesis on implants — fixed with special screws, provides natural chewing and biting functions and high stability.
  • Removable prosthesis on implants — mounted on special fasteners that allow easy removal and insertion of the prosthesis, which facilitates oral hygiene.
  • Dolder white denture — a fastening system that ensures the highest stability of the prosthesis thanks to the latches on the beam screwed to the implants. This solution combines the comfort of a permanent prosthesis with the possibility of removing it for cleaning.

Stages of implant treatment

  1. Implantology consultation — performing intraoral scans, photographs and computed tomography to assess the quantity and quality of bones and to plan the number and position of implants.
  2. Treatment planning — discussing a detailed plan, explaining the procedure and answering the patient's questions.
  3. Implantation of implants and placement of a temporary prosthesis Implantation of 4 or 6 screws in the dental arch and immediate insertion of temporary teeth, which allows the patient to have new teeth on the same day.
  4. Inspection and removal of seams — after healing of the sites after implantation, the doctor removes the sutures and assesses the condition of the tissues.
  5. Installation of the final prosthesis — after about 3 months, temporary teeth are replaced with durable, aesthetic dentures made of high quality materials such as zircon or PMMA reinforced with graphene.
  6. Hygiene and control — regular check-ups and hygiene procedures that help keep implants and dentures in excellent condition and take care of the health of the gums.

Summary

The All-on-X method is an effective, fast and comfortable solution for people with dental deficiencies of the entire jaw. It allows you to restore a natural smile and full oral function in just one day, minimizing the number of visits and treatment time. The choice of the number of implants (4 or 6) depends on the individual anatomical conditions and the needs of the patient. Thanks to modern surgical materials and techniques, patients can enjoy a durable, aesthetic and comfortable prosthetic complement.
